CHECK UP
We went for our 25 week check up today :) Little Martin is doing GREAT and he is perfectly healthy :) We are still measuring a week ahead! This is so exciting! This means that we are at 26 weeks (27 weeks this Sunday) We are in the THIRD TRIMESTER!
Martin kicked my belly right where Tonya (my incredible nurse) had the heartbeat monitor today. It was absolutely hilarious! He already has a mind of his own!

The 4D Ultrasound! Thanks to my popi (dad), this is my early birthday present :) I am SOOOOOOO excited! JUNE 26th!! I will also be having the glucose screening this day so prayers of a healthy report are greatly appreciated!

Baby Room, Mother's Day and Martial Arts :)
Your room is partially ready...We worked and worked on it all day one Saturday! Daddy and Grandpa Rick built your furniture that Poppi Todd bought you while Great-Grandma Rose and I painted your accent wall and closet green. Grandma Tracy came over later and helped me get all of your clothes and shoes organized into your closet. It looks so cute! You already have so many things.....you are very loved by your family!
Ross had to try out the baby carrier on Ringo :)
My First Mother's Day
Daddy took me to the melting pot on Wednesday the 6th, on a shopping spree to motherhood maternity on Friday the 8th, and to register for baby things at Baby's R Us for you on Sunday the 10th! On Mother's Day Morning Ross and I woke...I thought to myself that I would just love to feel you kick...not 2 seconds after thinking that, Ross and I watched as you tossed and turned in my belly. Ross even felt your little foot when you kicked several times in a row. I am LOVING being your mommy already and I can't wait to see you!

You already have a schedule! You play in my belly at 7:00a, 11:00a, 3:00p, 5:00p and 10:00p. You have not woke me up in the middle of the night yet but I am sure you wake up sometime between the 10:00p kicking and the 7:00a kick alarm :)
I love to feel you dancing in my tummy and daddy has REALLY enjoyed getting to feel your little foot hit his hand time and time again.
MILESTONE 1 bedroom basics...complete! MILESTONE 2 registering....complete! I just finished registering at Babys R Us this evening. Ross and I did the bulk in store and I did the rest online. Technology sure is wonderful! I got to read reviews on what we registered for and add items, without being rushed, online :) Friends and family will be able to purchase gifts for little Marty through IN-Store or online...TOO COOL! We plan on registering at Target as well (some smaller items) just to provide 2 options to out of towners that want to purchase gifts of any sort.

My Baby Bump
Well.....I really never imagined that I would take a picture of my belly for others to see but I must say that I am very excited to show it off :) I have been told several times...."you are not even showing" and I am posting to prove that I am now ;) P.S. If you are one of those people that have told me that I am not showing...do not feel bad because I have not "bumped out" until 4 days ago! NO KIDDING!
A few things before I post the pic!
1. We measured a week ahead at last ultrasound! This means Baby Martin could be here a week earlier than expected which would make us INCREDIBLY happy seeing that we have a wedding close to the due date so pray with us that I am 20 weeks going on 21 this Sunday and not 19 weeks going on 20 :) If that makes ANY sense...
2. Ross got to feel baby Martin move today for the first time. I had to test Ross' patience but he finally sat still long enough with me to see Martin move and feel him move. It is still VERY faint on the outside but inside I have never felt him so strong as I have today. (I think he likes the music we were playing here at work (Reggae)) IT IS MIRACULOUS!

It's a BOY!!!
We are so excited to share the news with everyone that we are having a little boy :) We had so much fun at our ultrasound as our little man showed off for us and the family :) Ross and I went in first and found out immediately what we were having as Martin was excited to show us his stuff! We then had the family come in to watch him play in my tummy! He was making faces, waving, playing bass on his umbilical cord and making all sorts of funny movements.

All of us went out to eat at Cheddars after the ultrasound and then the guys went to Dick's sporting goods and the girls went to baby depot for our first BLUE shopping spree :) We all came home to a big blue bow on the door from our friends Chris and Kristina and a dining room full of blue balloons and streamers with blue plates and cheesecake from our friends Chris and Candace!
I didn't have my good camera so these are all from my good ole point and shoot! Yipee for point and shoot camera's! It kind of felt nice to just take a photo without having to think....however....the quality is SOOO not as good as my big baby SLR!! Oh Well....don't judge hahah!

Well....hello friends and family :)
I have created this blog to keep everyone updated with Baby Anglen. This blog is past due on my books so I am glad I finally have it up and running. I will be posting pics and info hopefully weekly so make sure to subscribe to the blog for email updates!

RECAP UP TO THIS POINT:
Me and Ross at my first ultrasound :) It was so neat to see the little one! We heard a heartbeat at the 2nd ultrasound. We were totally not expecting to hear the heartbeat and we were so overwhelmed when we did!
